Return to School Guidance

We will begin bringing students who wish to return back to campuses on November 2nd. This will be a phased process. Our School Reopening Plan that was submitted to the San Bernardino County Public Health Department along with our elementary waiver is linked below. It has detailed information on protocols and procedures for when students return to campus. The Parent Notification Regarding Face Covering Requirement 2nd Grade and Below, also linked below, is an addendum to the Reopening Plan.

Below are guidelines and requirements pertaining to each grade group for when they return to campus.

TK-Kindergarten

Return Dates: November 2, 2020 (Group A) and November 5, 2020 (Group B)

Guidelines and Requirements:

  • Please remember to confirm that your child is fever free and without any COVID-19 symptoms before school each day.

  • Temperature checks and a visual health screen will be conducted each morning upon entry.

  • Face coverings are strongly recommended for children aged 2 years to 2nd grade, if they can worn properly; however, if the children in this cohort cannot wear a face covering properly, then the State allows the alternative of a face shield.

  • Drinking- Our drinking fountains are turned off at this time so students will need to bring a water bottle. Bottled water will be provided for any student who needs one.

  • Snacks and Meals- Students will be provided a meal as they end the school day.

  • Shoes and clothes that students can manage themselves will be very helpful to help all of us maintain the recommended spacing and caution.

  • Please affix your child's name on all loose items: water bottles, backpacks, jackets, masks, and other items.

  • Students will not need to bring any school supplies with them to school, everything they need will be provided at school for individual use.

  • Students will be expected to use the restroom without assistance.

  • Requests to change from in-person to remote learning programs (or reverse) will be processed through Central Enrollment at the district office.
