Preparing our students for their future is our motto, therefore continuing improvement of teaching and learning in our schools is our paramount focus. Due to our dedicated staff, student achievement across all measures continues to rise. AVUSD has outperformed most other districts of similar size and demographics and is a premier district in the high desert region. Simply put, the children of this community are receiving quality education and services from a dedicated, caring, highly qualified group of educators and support staff. The Board of Trustees identified a set of goals and target objectives. The three goal area priorities are:
We are committed to continuous improvement to best serve the students in Apple Valley, to expand the learning opportunities for our students, and to build our future through the education of all our students.
I am honored to lead our dedicated staff. Our student achievement, safe schools, and graduates who are successful and productive citizens, continues to demonstrate the focus of Apple Valley Unified School District.
