Last Monday, September 19, CTE students at Apple Valley High School participated in a series of skills labs, led by student volunteers from Victor Valley College. Jessica Camacho, Daniel Garcia, Taylor Shultz and Ciara Wilson led students through a series of four stations, where AVHS' CTE students had the opportunity to learn and practice various medical assisting practices, including the importance of personal protective equipment, testing reflexes, peripheral pulses and the six cardinal fields of gaze.
