On Thursday, Sept. 15, students at Yucca Loma Elementary School gathered on the playground for Health Strong. Health Strong is a monthly event, at which students participate in a variety of fun, heart-pumping activities, enjoy a healthy snack, and learn more about the benefits of living a healthy lifestyle. September's Health Strong theme was "The Olympics". Students rotated through a variety of activity stations, at which they lifted "weights", jumped over hurdles, walked across a balance beam, and raced through "swimming" lanes.

Health Strong is hosted and led by the Yucca Loma Paul Swick Family Center, Stine Chiropractic, Apple Valley High School's HOSA program, Finish Line Tire and Automotive, and Yucca Loma parent volunteers.
