Edgar Coronado and Jerry Smart build doghouse. On Dec. 7, three teams from Apple Valley High School and two teams from Granite Hills High School competed in a construction competition, hosted by the Victor Valley College Construction Technology Department. By the end of the day, both AVHS and GHHS went home with an award. A team from Granite Hills High School was awarded 1st place and a team from Apple Valley High School was awarded 3rd place.

In this friendly competition, teams were challenged to construct a doghouse and were judged by VVC faculty members. The event included twelve teams from five schools, including Apple Valley High School, Chapparal High School, Granite Hills High School, Serrano High School and Victor Valley High School.

Great job to all of our students who participated!
