Apple Valley student elected to California Association FFA State Office

pple Valley High School senior, Samuel Looper, has been elected as State Treasurer for the California Association FFA for the 2016-2017 year.
Apple Valley High School senior, Samuel Looper, has been elected as State Treasurer for the California Association FFA for the 2016-2017 year. Looper will spend the upcoming year housed in Sacramento and will travel throughout the state to visit FFA chapters, plan leadership conferences, work with partners in the agriculture industry and serve the 83,000 members of the California Association FFA.

Looper also received a $500 scholarship from the Jamie Lynn Petty Foundation for leadership.

Currently, Looper serves as the 2015-2016 Southern Region President.

Looper was recognized at the California FFA State Leadership Conference, held April 21-26 in Fresno
