Welcome to the AVUSD website. It is amazing how quickly technology changes and how quickly it becomes part of how we do business, at home and in the workplace. We are continuing to add information to our website that we hope is useful for our families, staff, and community members.
Improving teaching and learning in our schools is our paramount focus. Student achievement across all measures, continues to rise. AVUSD has outperformed most other districts of similar size and demographics. Simply put, the children of this community are receiving quality services from a dedicated, caring, highly qualified group of educators and support staff.
The Board of Trustees has identified a set of goals and target objectives for the next three years. The three goal area priorities are:
